The Season After Pentecost 2025

St. John the Divine

Hello, Reader!

This Sunday, we gather to celebrate the Thirteenth Sunday after Pentecost 2025.

This Week’s Scriptures

  • Deuteronomy 30:15–20: Choose life by loving and following God.
  • Psalm 1: Blessed are those who find joy in God’s ways.
  • Philemon 1–21: Paul calls for reconciliation and acceptance in Christ.
  • Luke 14:25–33: Jesus calls us to consider the cost of discipleship.

These passages remind us that living in Christ involves choosing God every day, seeking reconciliation, and following wholeheartedly.

A note from the Marzahl's

Hello,
I wanted to share that the new baby has arrived. Danny and Nicole welcomed Theodore (Teddy) Bennett Marzahl on 9/4.

We are blessed ♥️
